The risk of stormwind is eliminated by the Max-Peg spring system which accommodates the movement of the tent.

The Maxcon peg spring stretches away from the direction of the wind, while the opposite spring contracts.

This simultaneous action by both springs ensures that the anchor ropes stay fixed. The tent canvas stays stretched. A strong wind does not have the opportunity of ripping or damaging the tent canvas because there is no canvas slacking.

250mm Maxcon Mini Peg

For nylon tents

The Maxcon Mini spring peg is a 250mm x 8mm Spring Steel tent peg with a 25kg spring for smaller tents.

The Maxcon Mini Peg is ideal for nylon tents where there is a concern of possible material ripping due to wind gusts.

It can be used effectively on paved campsites but Maxcons also offer a screw peg for this purpose.

350mm Max-Peg

For canvas and caravan tents

The Max-Peg 350mm x 8mm Spring Steel peg with a 45kg spring was designed to be an effective and reliable anchor for caravan and canvas tents.

The 350mm Max-Peg is an effective anchor in hard soil. The 8mm spring steel ensures that extremely hard soil, and even rocks, are effectively penetrated. The tapered point of the peg guides the peg through hard surfaces without the problem of redirection of the peg in hard or rocky soil.

450mm Max Storm Peg

For soft and sandy soil

Max-Storm Pegs replace the traditional L-shaped anchor pegs. Instead of just a peg, the Maxcon storm peg is a 450mm hardened spring steel peg with a 45kg resistance compressing spring to be used as a unit.

The Max-Storm Peg is designed for use in sandy, wet and strong windy conditions and proved itself to be effective in compacted seaside camping soil.

In completely loose beach or desert sand, the Max-Sand Anchor Plate is the anchor of choice.
