The Maxcons Rope and Pole Anchor is a metal plate made to anchor the tent pole to the Maxcons spring tent peg via an anchor rope.
The pole anchor goes over the tent pole tip and is attached to the guy rope. If the Max-Peg is in the ground at 45°, the guy rope will form a 45° angle with the pole via the pole anchor.
That ensures that the Max-Peg and pole work in harmony to stabilize the tent.
The only place where the pole could move then is to lift up in case of a wind gust. This is countered by using Max-Pole Steady Pins which ensure that the poles do not fall over and pull out from the tent and pole anchor in strong winds.
